Govind Vidyalaya organises reading competition

Jamshedpur, June 24: Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia, organized a captivating “Big Read Competition” on July 24, 2023, for students from classes I to VIII. The competition aimed to foster and enhance the reading skills of the participants in both Hindi and English languages.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their talents in reading aloud. Participants were evaluated based on various criteria, including pronunciation, intonation, fluency, voice modulation, and expression. These parameters helped determine the winners of the competition.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Activity-Incharge Naushad Razia, Jr. Coordinator Rita Choudhury, dedicated teachers, and enthusiastic students. Their support and encouragement added vibrancy to the competition, creating a conducive environment for the participants to excel. Ifat Rahman and Punam Kumari took charge of coordinating the event, along with the assistance of supporting teachers Saniya Ejaz and Sneha Sharma. Under the guidance of Activity-Incharge Naushad Razia, the team worked diligently to ensure the smooth execution of the competition.
