Govind Vidyalaya organises calligraphy and slogan contest

Jamshedpur, May 6: Govind Vidyalaya organized calligraphy contest, slogan writing contest and G.K. Quiz competition in the school premises.

Calligraphy competition was for the students of Std. VI to VIII, Slogan competition for the students of Std. IX to XII and the topic given was �Conservation of fauna & flora�. The G.K. Quiz competition saw participation of students of Std. IX to XII. All three competitions were organized house-wise.

In the Calligraphy competition- Sana Quamar (VII A, Rose House) was the winner followed by Alka Kumari (VIII A, Lotus House) and Vicky Kumar (VIII C, Lotus House) and Saleha Perween (VI A, Lotus House).

In the slogan writing Tasneem Kauser (XI A, Lotus House), Ishika Chand (XI C, Lotus House), Anisha Kumari (IX B, Daffodil House) and Tania Ashmal (IX B, Daffodil House) were the winner. Pragya Pratap Singh (XII B, Rose House), Balima Deogam (XII B, Rose House) and Achint Siran (IX B, Daffodil House) bagged the second spot while Umay Aman (X A, Cosmos House) and Almas Zia (X C, Cosmos House) were third.

The calligraphy competition was coordinated by Mrs. Debajani Banerjee and judged by Krishna Modak. Slogan competition was coordinated by Rita Ghosh and Haroon Rashid and judged by N. Razia. Quiz competition for the event was coordinated by Samir Banerjee and Ashok Ch. Kumbhakar and judged by Tilottma Singh.
