Jamshedpur, June 25: As the holy month of Ramzan is coming to an end the Govind Vidyalaya �student council organized an Iftar Party on Saturday at the school camps.
Students, parents, teachers and other people of different religion caste and creed participated in large numbers.
For the last four years, Friday prayers are being held every Friday in the school premises. Hafiz Syed-Ud-Zama performed the rituals.
Before Iftar, a prayer was organized for love, brotherhood and prosperity for students, school and the society. And after Iftar the evening prayer was offered �by Dr. Noorzama Khan.
On this occasion managing director of the school Dr. B.D. Sharma, principal Dr. Sunita Sinha, administrator Krishna Modak, vice-principal Molly Majumdar, coordinator Mitali Das, PRO Rajesh Sharma, junior wing in-charge Swapna Shome, staff members, social worker�Akbar and other guests were present.
On this occasion of Iftar celebration, people were served food packets and drinks.
The school�s Student Council members participated actively under the guidance of teachers N. Razia, Hasiba Khatoon, Shomaila Khanam, Md. Jamshed, Haroon Rasheed, Quaiser Alam, Shabaz Khan and Sirajuddin in making the program successful.
