Jamshedpur, September 5: Govind Vidyalaya celebrated Teachers’ day with fervour at the school premises on Monday, September 5.
The event started with Dr. BD Sharma, director of the school paying tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Later the students sang a song and danced in honour of the teachers.
Several competitions were held for the teachers on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Dr. BD Sharma advised the students to walk on the paths of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The event was hosted by Sourabh Kumar and Pragya Singh, students of class 11. Students council President Aftab Alam extended the vote of thanks.
Students of class 11 and student council members played a vital role in making the programme successful.
