Jamshedpur, Jan. 12: Under the CBSE Expression series on Swami Vivekananda, Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia organized an Essay, Poem and Painting contest for the students of class 8 and 9 on Tuesday, January 12 at the school premises.
The competitions were conducted under the guidance and supervision of the English teachers Mrs . Neha Yadav and Mrs. Tilottma Singh.
The motto behind this contest was to circulate the thoughts and ideas of the great scholar and philosopher Swami Vivekananda.A special tribute was also given in the morning assembly by the students referring the ideologies of Swami Vivekananda.
In the painting contest–Manjeet Singh ( VIII A ) was declared first, Sukhmani Simran (IX C ) second while Junaid Hussain (IX B) was third.
In the Essay Contest- Shayam Narayan of (IX C) was first followed by Shahab Ali ( IX B ) and Vishal Singh (IX C ).
In the Poem contest- Muskan Singh ( IX C ) was declared first followed by Sweta Nidhi (IX B) and Zainab Fatima ( IX A ).
