Govind Vidyalaya celebrates Independence Day with pomp and show

Jamshedpur : Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia celebrated the 68th Independence Day with great pomp and show . The day began with Guard of Honour & March Past.

The Flag was hoisted by the Honourable Managing Director B.D. Sharma, in the presence of Secretary of the Vidyalaya Sri Bhajan Singh, Administrator Miss Krishna Modak, Vice Principal Molly Majumdar, Teachers, Students, & Parents.

In his address the Managing Director advised the students to walk on the path of Martyrs who laid down their life on the altar of Independence. After this the students presented drill, song & dance based on patriotism.

This year�s main attractions were the presentation of Skits, Fusion Dance, Hindi Action song and Fancy Dress based on Indian freedom struggle by the different houses of the school under the guidance of House Moderators.

Beyond all these the students presented speech on the Day in Sanskrit also. The students of Hindi Medium presented a thrilling dance & speech.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Rakesh Rai. The programme was coordinated by Tilottma & Naushad Razia along with student Rukshar Perween.

Overall Incharge of the programme were Rakesh Rai & Vikash Anand. All the teachers cooperation made the programme a grand success.
