Jamshedpur: Govind Vidyalay in Tamolia today organized the annual sports meet which was inaugurated by chief guest and Congress Saraikela-Kharsawan district president Chhatare Kisku.
The commencement included a grand march past and attractive drill by the junior students of the school. The whole sporting event of the day was anchored by school teacher Naushad Razia and Std 11 students Alkama Shabbir and Sarmin Naz.
The credit for successful conduct of the sports events went to sports trainers Gokul Nand Mishra and Narayan Mandal.
The welcome address was presented by Vidyarthi Parishad president Shariq Hussain while the vote of thanks was offered by Narayan Mandal. Cosmos House (in-charge Rita Ghosh) won the champions� trophywhile Rose House (in charge Shagufta Naz) were the runners-up. The Best Sportspersons declared were Std XII student Tarif Mallick and Std X student Faiza Ali Mumtaz.
Present during the annual sports were the school�s managing director Dr BD Sharma, principal Dr Sunita Sinha, administrator Krishna Modak, junior coordinator Rita Chowdhury, PRO Rajesh Sharma, teachers, staff and parents.
