Jamshedpur, Oct 28: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu while condemning the observation of Jharkhand Governor, Ramesh Bais, said in a press release on Friday, “It is indeed unfortunate that a Governor who holds the highest state office observed ‘An atom bomb will explode in Jharkhand’ is in very bad taste. Ramesh Bais’ rhetoric is akin to that of BJP leaders. His statement speaks the language of BJP leaders. The Union Home Minister is requested to recall the Jharkhand Governor as with his mind set, he has eroded the dignity of the Governor’s post.”
In his press communiqué Sudhir Kumar Pappu contended that Ramesh Bais, vide his statement, “…an Atom Bomb will explode in Jharkhand” was unfortunate. Pappu mentioned, “Ramesh Bais’ BJP like rhetoric would have been pardonable if he had stated thus as a BJP leader but his statement while holding the post of Governor, he (Ramesh Bais) should resign immediately and join the BJP fold like any other active politician.”
Describing the Jharkhand Governor’s statement as very sad and painful, the advocate and RJD leader urged th Home Minister to recall Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais with immediate effect.
