Government to talk to TMH for Ayushman Bharat scheme: Jharkhand CM

Jamshedpur: CM Raghubar Das on Monday said that the State Government will talk to Tata Main Hospital and Tata Motors Hospital for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojana and Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana.

The centre sponsored Ayushman Bharat scheme has total number 433 hospital under its purview while 227 are Government hospitals 206 are private. However, both the Tata run hospital are get to get associated with the scheme.

Talking to the newsmen at local Circuit House, Das said that the State Government will work to ensure that more private hospitals are get associated with the scheme.

The Chief Minister said that government is working towards achieving the overall development of village, poor, women, farmers and youth. The central government has increased the minimum support price of crops for the betterment of the farmers, and the government has also given a constitutional status to the backward committees in the interest of crores of people.

With the emergence of schemes like Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister Jan Arogya in the field of health, the poorest of the poor can also now get the best treatment in the state. He said that 85% of the state’s population has been covered under the health insurance scheme. The state government is giving Rs. 400 crores for the implementation of this scheme.
