Government to appoint 21,000 teachers on November 15: Raghubar

CM inaugurates DBMS College of Education

Jamshedpur: The Chief Minister Raghubar Das who also inaugurated DBMS College of Education in Kadma informed that on November 15, 2018, 21,000 teachers will be recruited for primary, middle and high school levels. He added that soon 100 colleges will be opened across state.

�Our Government is working to upgrade education in the State. The government in 2018-19 budget has allocated Rs 1500 crore for infrastructure upgradation in schools for quality education. It has given recognition for six private universities and four government universities in the last few years to stop migration of students outside state for higher education,� said Das.

Addressing the dignitaries at the DBMS College of education, Chief Minister claimed that 90 per cent of the 38,000 state-owned schools now have bench desk, from merely 7,000 when he took over reigns as chief minister in December 2014.

DBMS College of Education in Kadma is affiliated to Kolhan University has been built at a cost of Rs 6-crore and will offer two years B Ed course (100 seats) and Diploma in Education (50 seats).
