Government to introduce ‘Mukhyamanti Udyamita Board’ to develop skills: CM

Jamshedpur, July 7: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has promised to provide health insurance worth Rs 2 lakh to those who cannot afford it due to poverty. He was addressing Guru Purnima Mahotsav being celebrated by the Bharatiya Yugavashishtha Brahmananda Sangha at Brahmalokdham in Kadma this morning.

“We have plans to introduce the health cover to benefit the poor at large. We are very much aware that there are a lot of poor families who cannot afford better treatment or medicine. We have plans to introduce such scheme where people will get health insurance cards and can avail treatment upto Rs 2 lakh. We would also like that Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital to join hands with the state government health insurance scheme so that it can reach to to the poor and needy,” said Das.

The Chief Minister announced a health insurance plan and an entrepreneurship board for promoting women entrepreneurs in the state. Both, the schemes will be aimed at the rural areas. Das said the government is working efficiently in bringing speedy development, providing basic amenities and improving policing.

In his address, Das said that the state government would soon introduce the Mukhyamanti Udyamita Board, an entrepreneurship board that would focus on women skills and help women entrepreneurs. The chief minister announced to cover 32000 villages in the state where women can be employed creating a supply chain for blankets used in various places like hospitals or hotels. The Chief Minister said about 4.80 lakh women will be a part of the blanket training. The blankets made by the women will be bought by the government. Addressing the representatives, the Chief Minister said that the government will focus on women empowerment. They want the women to be self reliant and work for the progress of society.

Kripabindu Bhattacharjee, president of the Bharatiya Yugavashishtha Brahmananda Sangha delivered the inaugural address. Monobindu Bhattacharjee, managing trustee of Bharatiya Yugavashishtha Brahmananda Sangha also present at the inauguration ceremony of the Guru Purnima. The mahotsav will conclude on July 9. This is the 25th year of the mahotsav.

Das also performed an ‘aarti’ and addressed the gathering of devotees present at the Brahmalokdham. He was welcomed with a dance performed by the members of the sangha.
