The department is working on sops to boost the sector. I cannot divulge the details but will work to promote them, said Soren.

We want to promote Jharkhand as the manufacturing hub. We want to move ahead with this vision, noted Soren.

He also appealed to the industries to change their strategy and incorporate positive initiatives in their investment plan. Industry needs to make value addition to the raw minerals and absorb local people in job through skill development, he stated.

He went on to add that the move will serve duel purpose for the administration, on one hand it will ensure hassle free availability of land on the other hand it would also make the administration update with the availability of land for industrial and other purposes as and when required he added.

Our natural resources are reducing due to rampant use of the mines and industrial growth. However we have failed to ensure progress of the local tribals and their participation in the production and this has led to social unrest, he said. Its time to correct the strategyand ensure balanced and all round growth of the state, the CM noted.
