Goswami writes to NHAI GM for repair

Jamshedpur: Former state BJP president Dr Dineshanand Goswami has demanded repair of National Highway 33 and National Highway 6 as early as possible.

He wrote to the chief general manager of National Highway Authority of India for Jharkhand region Ravindra Kumar in this connection and pointed out the dilapidated condition of the highways.

He said the NH33 had been turned into a pond in the rainy season. He said mishaps were happening every then and now due to the poor condition of the highway.

He alleged that the state government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren had failed to acquire land for widening the highway. He said the contract company Simplex had quit the job due to non-cooperation of the government.
