Jamshedpur: Golmuri unit of BJP launched a 15 day long Padyatra from Kailashnagar Basti here on Thursday. The march was led by the Golmuri unit president Probir Chatterjee Rana. It was organized to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
During the Padyatra, BJP leaders informed people about party�s ideology and the various development and welfare schemes of Modi government. Suggestions were invited from citizens for resolving various issues.
Rana said the Padyatra would extend to each and every booth in the city. A mass contact programme would also be held alongside the Padyatra.
Among those present on the occasion included Khemlal Choudhary, Prem Jha, Amarendra Kumar, Rakesh Rao, Amarjeet Singh Raja and Abhimanyu Singh.
