Gamharia : In protest against Union Government�s non responsive attitude towards rolling back excise duty on gems and jewellery, the jewellers sold tea in protest.
They are demanding rollback of 1 per cent excise duty on gems and jewellery and making PAN cards compulsory for transactions of Rs 2 lakh. above.
ON the occasion, Shankar Burman, Ishwar Lal Barman, Ratan Verma, Naresh Prasad Berman, Niten Burman, Deepak Verma, Dinesh Prasad, Govinda, Pritam, Moti Lal Verma, Trilochan Verma and Satish Kumar Soni were present.
