Jamshedpur, March 12: The Golden Boys U7 team inflicted the heaviest defeat yet at the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023 as they beat Hill Top School Challengers 20-0 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Sunday.
The goals were flowing in week three of the 10-month long baby league tournament, with high scores seen across all categories and age groups.

The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U5, U7, U9, U11 and U13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city.
Week three of the tournament featured four teams from the U5 category, and two teams each from the U7, U9, U11 and U13 categories, all involved in action across different pitches set up across the archery field at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

The players were on the pitch as early as 7 AM on a bright Sunday morning, with parents and coaches on hand to help them get ready for the day’s proceedings.
For the first time since the start of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, officials and staff from the Jamshedpur FC first team were in attendance to help with proceedings on match day.
First team physiotherapists aided with injury recovery for the kids, while team assistants were on hand to aid every step of the way.

Boys and girls from all categories played together in a harmonious environment and brought out a competitive spirit hardly seen before in a tournament of such magnitude.
As always, five players from the JFC Youth Team (TFA) were on hand to officiate matches across the different categories in the league, while refreshments were also provided for the players.

The league will be hosted at the Archery Ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex every Sunday for 10 months, with new venues expected to be added as the season goes on.
In other matches from week three-U5 category: HTS Stars lost 3-6 to Three Star, in U5 category: Rocky Star were defeated 4-6 by Jamshedpur Colts, in U9 category: Carmel Warriors lost 0-4 to Ronaldo Hill Top School Jamshedpur, in U11 category: Loyola Platoons beat Red Dragons 10-0 and in U13 category: Golden Pheasant Hill Top School Jamshedpur thrashed Carmel United 7-0.
