Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation conducts belt grading exam in Jamshedpur

70 kids from 18 Jamshedpur schools participate

Jamshedpur, May 6:  All India Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation conducted Karate Black Belt and Colour Belt Grading Exam at Chamber Bhawan in Bistupur, Jamshedpur on Thursday, May 5.

70 boys and girls from 18 schools of Jamshedpur participated in the Belt Grading Exam.

Black Belt Karatekas demonstrated kata and self defence technique in presence of Niraj Kumar, Adarsh Kumar Singh, Pranav Paul etc.  

Manu Prakash, IFS, DM, JSFDC, Jamshedpur and Sanjay Shandil, Commanding Officer, 37, Jharkhand BN NCC, Jamshedpur were present as chief guests.

Vijay Anand Moonka, President, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Prashant Singh alias Putul, President of Press Club of Jamshedpur were present as Guest of Honour.

Amit Khandelwal, former President of Marwari Yuva Manch, Jamshedpur also attended the event.

Manu Prakash in his speech thanked the students who took out time to practice karate from their busy study schedule. “Karate is one of the best form of physical fitness apart from games and sports,” he added. Other guests also expressed their views.

Shinan L. Nageshwar Rao was present as 1st Examiner, Shihan Nepal Vishwakarma was the 2nd Examiner and Shihan Sumit Kumar Senapati was present as 3rd Examiner during the Bely Grading Exam.

Sensei Subhdh Karwa, Sensei Sarju Ram, Sensei Niraj Kumar, Sensei Priyabrat Dutta, Sensei Raja Mandal were present and contributed in making the Belt Grading Exam successful.

It is worth mentioning that All India Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation is affiliated to Karate Association of India and All Japan Karate Do Goju Ryu Kai.
