This was observed today by Mr AK Sharma, Principal D.A.V. Public School, Gua, who has received Rastriya Shiksha Ratan Award for the individual achievement for economic and social development by economic growth society of India, New Delhi.
Previously Sharma has been honoured with the �Golden Educationist of India Award� by the Executive Director of National and International compendium, New Delhi on 28th January 2013.
Prior to this, Principal A.K. Sharma has already been bestowed with �Indira Gandhi Vidya Gaurav Award� , �Rajeev Gandhi Education Excellence Award� , �Eminent Educationist Award� , �Vanya Jeeva Ratna Award� , �Vanya Jeeva Dronacharya Award� , �Bharat Shiksha Ratna Award� , �Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award� and �Glory of India Award� at Bankok etc. to mention a few.
Principal A.K. Sharma attributes the credit of his above mentioned success to the unabated co-operation of the honourable office bearers of D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi, worthy Director D.A.V. Pub-lic Schools & Colleges Ranchi Zone along with the esteemed officers of Gua Ore Mines RMD-SAIL, Gua and the people of West Singhbhum, but for whose guidance , directions and Good will, this would never have been possible.
In an interview, Sharma said, �Giving Education is not only a sacred duty but also to develop the moral and cultural values among children ensuring the overall development is quite necessary.
�He takes it to be a yajna which cannot be possible and completed without the sup-port and sharing of every sector of the society�.
It is a matter of grate pride for the people of Gua that an Educational Institution like D.A.V was established in 1992 under the banner, help and support of the worthy RMDSAIL Gua Ore Mines, Gua.
The recordes till date shows a constant rise among its students not only in the field of education but also in all types extra curricular and co-curricular activities.
