Gamharia: Members of Ekta Vikas Manch burnt the effigy of the state human resource development minister Gitashree Oraon at Lal Building Chowk, Gamharia.
On Tuesday in a show of protest against the recent statement allegedly given in public by her regarding cancellation of candidature of Bhojpuri candidates in Teacher�s Eligibility Test held in Jharkhand.
The outfit members alleged that the minister was trying to wedge a rift between the tribals and non-tribals of the state. A large number of people were present during the agitation.
