Jamshedpur: The police have solved the mystery murder of a youth who was found on July 21 in Adityapur forest. It has been revealed that the girlfriend killed her lover Taraknath Mandal in Adityapur for a mere ten thousand rupees. After this, to hide the evidence of murder, the body was thrown into the Hathiyadih forest.
The body was recovered by the police of Adityapur police station on 21 July. In fact, a complaint about the disappearance of Tarak Nath Mandal, a youth of Teachers Colony I, under Mango police station area, was registered on 20 July. Police investigating Mango police station arrested girlfriend Kiran Mahato and her three associates Ganesh Lohar, Karan Lohar and Kamlesh Prasad, who were involved in the murder.
The accused girlfriend is a warden at a private polytechnic college. The four have also admitted their involvement in the murder. As the body was recovered in the Adityapur police station area, the autopsy report was handed over to the Adityapur police station. The police of Mango police station took out the mobile call details of Taraknath Mandal. On this basis, Karun Mahato, a woman from Nimdih police station area of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, was detained for questioning.
