Girl dies after wall collapses in Birsanagar

Jamshedpur: A 22 year old girl, identified as Puja Kumari, died on Friday after sustaining critical injuries when a wall fell upon her yesterday in Zone Number 1B at Birsanagar.

Sources said the incident occurred around 3 am when the walls of the house suddenly fell down on Puja. Puja was sleeping in the verandah when the mishap occurred. She was taken out of the debris by her neighbours and taken to Tata Motors Hospital. She succumbed to injuries during treatment.

The president of the local Shiv temple committee Runu Yadav said the deceased was cremated with the help of the committee members. All expenses of the girl�s last rituals would be paid through charity, he said.

The deceased girl was the daughter of Dharmdas Baba, a priest in the local temple. She studied in ABM College, Golmuri.
