GIIT College leads KU team at PRD Parade Camp

Jamshedpur: The Pre-Republic Day parade camp 2017 which began on September 30 at Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Khandari Campus Agra and concluded on October 9. At the camp Dr. AK Dubey, secretary, Youth Afairs, Minister of Youth Affairs, Govt of India, Dr. Veerendra Mishra, Director NSS and Dr, Ashok Kumar Shruti, Regional Director NSS, Lucknow was present.

210 NSS volunteers and 10 programme officers from Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand were benefitted from the camp. The guests awarded NSS volunteers with certificate, T-Shirts and a book based on the life of Swami Vivekananda. The Jharkhand delegation was led by Kolhan University affiliated GIIT professional College.

The NSS programme officer of the College Pratibha Rani Mishra was made the incharge of the health services at the PRD Parade camp. Total of nine participants from Kolhan University including 4 boys, 4 girls and a programme officer were part of the team. The team from Jharkhand along with Kolhan University staged cultural programmes and activities along with parade.
