Jamshedpur: The eighth day of Ganesh Chaturthi was observed with great devotion on Wednesday at the Andhra Samiti Telco (East Zone) Ganpati Mandir. The day began with Abhishek performed by Shyam Sundar Rao and his wife Sunita, followed by a Ganpati Havan. Devotees offered Durva, bananas, coconuts, modaks and motichoor laddus to Lord Gajanan, praying for the happiness and prosperity of their families.
In the evening, Ganesh Ji was worshipped with 501 flowers and chanting of mantras as per Telugu customs and rituals. A large number of devotees visited the temple, bowed at the feet of Lord Ganesh, and received his blessings. The day concluded with a grand Mahaarati and distribution of prasad, filling the temple with a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
The rituals were conducted under the guidance of priest Anil Kumar. President Rajasekhar Rao, General Secretary K. Ram Mohan Rao, and other committee members were present on the occasion.
