Jamshedpur, April 10: As the city braces to face challenges of water crisis during the summer season, gallons of drinking water is being wasted near Mango Bridge for nearly a week from a public water kiosk. The water is being wasted as the taps have been stolen by some miscreants.
Voice of Humanity expressed anguish over the water loss. “We are surprised that the Mango water project is yet to be fully completed as pipeline is to be laid in several localities.
The area is known to suffer from acute water crisis every year and still gallons of water are being wasted. The water scarcity will turn graver as the mercury rises in the coming days.
We have informed the Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) a few days back. But no action has been initiated so far,” said an activist.
