Jamshedpur: Fun World Disneyland Fair opened its gates to the citizen on Friday evening.
The Fair which provides entertainment and ethnic cultural confluence of various regions of the country was inaugurated jointly by SDO Dhalbhum Chandan Kumar, guests of honour DSPs Anudip Singh and Sudhir Kumar and Sakchi PS OC Rajiv Kumar Singh at the Netaji Subhas Maidan (formerly Ambagan Maidan).
The fair commences in April every year with an eye on school students whose summer vacations would commence soon so that they could enjoy themselves at this destination.
This Fair showcases a mini India where dresses and handicrafts from various regions of the country are being exhibited and sold.
This Fair is special for many unemployed persons who get a platform for doing business and making some earnings for themselves and their families, said the organizer Chandrashekhar Parwat.
Parwat added, �In these fast-paced times, people hardly have any time for leisure. The Fair Ground will provide them respite from the race and rush for socio-economic survival. They can move around with their families, make purchases and enjoy the rides. In addition there will be stalls stacked with mouth watering recipes which they will love to eat.�
