Jamshedpur: The district is all set to celebrate Republic Day 2025 with grandeur as the final preparations for the district-level main function gain momentum.
The event will take place at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, where the Minister of School Education and Literacy and Registration Department, Jharkhand, Ramdas Soren, will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The flag hoisting ceremony will take place at 09:05 AM on 26th January.
To ensure that everything is in place for the grand celebration, a full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade was organized at Gopal Maidan today. The rehearsal was jointly inspected by Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal, ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan, and SDO Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar.
The parade featured an impressive lineup, including one platoon of JAP-6, three platoons of the district police force (including auxiliary police), one platoon of district home guards, two platoons of NCC (both women and men), as well as a platoon of Scouts and Guides.
During the inspection, senior district officials also reviewed other preparations at the venue. They issued necessary instructions to ensure that all arrangements are completed on time for the district-level ceremony.
The function promises to be a significant and well-organized event, showcasing the district’s commitment to honoring the spirit of Republic Day.
