Jamshedpur: In a road accident near Sundarnagar market under the Sundarnagar police station area, fruit seller Jamal Ansari sustained serious injuries on Saturday morning. Eyewitnesses reported that an unidentified vehicle struck him, causing severe head and chest injuries.
Jamal was initially rushed to Sadar Hospital by his family and later referred to MGM Hospital. After preliminary treatment at MGM, doctors, citing his critical condition, referred him to RIMS for advanced care. His condition remained critical.
Jamal Ansari is a resident of Kitadih. Meanwhile, police were actively searching for the unidentified vehicle involved in the incident.
Four injured as speeding bike overturns in Bagbera
Jamshedpur: A major road mishap occurred near the Banyan Tree roundabout on DB Road under the Bagbera police station area. A speeding Splendor bike coming from Harharguttu, lost control and overturned, injuring four persons riding on it.
Following the accident, the local police patrol team quickly reached the spot and rushed the injured to Sadar Hospital. According to police reports, all four injured were minors and none of them were wearing helmets at the time of the incident. Additionally, riding with four persons on a single bike is a serious violation of traffic regulations.
The injured were identified as Pawan Lohar (who suffered serious head injuries), Shanghai Tudu, Shanku Marandi, and Ganesh Kesari, all residents of the Jadajhopdi area of Bagbera. The police have seized the bike involved in the accident and further investigation were underway.
Two seriously injured in bike collision
Seraikela: Two youths, Madhav Pradhan and Rohit Pradhan, residents of Hardala village, were seriously injured in a road accident on Saturday evening near Rajnagar, along the new road connecting the old petrol pump.
According to reports, both were returning to their village on a bike when another motorcycle, coming from behind, collided with them. The impact caused both riders to fall and sustain serious injuries.
Local residents quickly rushed to their aid and arranged for an ambulance, which transported the injured youths to Seraikela Sadar Hospital. Both are currently undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, Seraikela police reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.
