Ghatsila , Oct 14: Sona Devi University in Ghatsila organized a Freshers Day event in its Ghatshila campus for the academic year 2023-’24. The University administration, faculty and staff members and students added to the lustre of the Freshers Day programme.
Events including quiz, dances and other entertainment events were organized during the programme. It was an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and introduce themselves. The University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prabhakar Singh, graced the event as the chief guest. Vice-Chancellor Professor J.P. Mishra, while welcoming the students, motivated them and inspired them to think big and achieve greatness by dint of honest and hard work.
The University Secretary, Dr Gulab Singh Azad, provided valuable information to the students for attainment of success. The program was anchored by Anusuya Rai and Umesh Gupta. (w/gsd)
