Jamshedpur, Jan. 19: Rajasthan Seva Sadan and BM Birla Heart Research Centre Kolkata will jointly organize a free heart check-up camp at Rajasthan Seva Sadan Hospital premises in ME School Road, Jugsalai on Sunday, January 22.
The camp will begin at 9.30 am and would continue till 4 pm. Doctors at the camp will check all the problems related to heart and would give suggestions and conduct free check-up, said Balmukund Goyal, president of Seva Sadan.
Addressing a press conference at a city hotel on Thursday, Goyal said, for the camp a 10-member team of specialists� doctors headed by famous cardiologists Dr. Lalit Kapoor and Dr. Tarun from BM Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata would be coming to Jamshedpur.
People who will register for the camp would have their ECG, blood pressure and PFT would be examined. More than 50 people have registered for the camp.
Balmukund Goyal further said that registration for the camp is ongoing at Rajasthan Seva Sadan Hospital and its open from 9 to 5.
Those who fail to register can do it on the camp day from 7 am to 10 am. Organizer of the event, Mantu Agarwal said, during the camp if a person is found suffering from serious heart problem and if he/she is a BPL card holder then the patient will be operated free of cost at BM Birla heart Research Centre.
The person who is formally affected by the heart disease would be provided second opinion on better heart treatment by the specialists� team from BM Birla Heart Research Centre.
Also present at the press conference were vice-president of Seva Sadan, Ashok Bhalotia, Bajrang Lal Bhartiya, Shankar Lal Mittal, Raj Kumar, Birla Centre�s Rakesh Kumar, Sourav Kumar and others were present.
