Jamshedpur, March 31: A free mega health checkup camp was organized at Manifit on Thursday by N Advance Skin Hospital on the occasion of the fifth death anniversary of renowned dermatologist Dr RP Thakur.
Dermatologists Dr Rajiv Thakur, Dr Pallavi Gautam, Dr Govind Sharma, Dr Renu Roy Choudhary, Dr Abhishek Mundu, Dr Vivek Kedia, Dr Rajiv Singh, Dr OP Thakur, Dr A Singh and Dr Rohit Jha, comprised the team of doctors who provided free treatment and advised patients. More than 350 patients were provided free treatment and medicines in the camp. Dr Rajiv Thakur said on the occasion, “My father, the late Dr RP Thakur who was a senior physician at Tata Main Hospital, used to make out time and provide free treatment and free medicines to financially weak patients. As a tribute to him on his fifth death anniversary, we have organized this free mega camp to ensure medical services to as many persons as possible.”
MLA Saryu Roy, social worker Amarpreet Singh Kale, Zila Parishad Vice President Raj Kumar Singh, BJP leaders Abhay Singh, Bharat Singh and Ram Babu Tiwari, Golmuri police station in-charge Arvind Kumar, AJSU Party District President Kanhaiya Singh, Congress district President Vijay Khan along with Mahavir Murmu, Akhilesh Thakur, Tarakeshwar Thakur and staff members of the hospital were present on the occasion.
