Jamshedpur, Nov. 6: The next free Eye Cure Camp organized by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), East Singhbhum Chapter and the Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan will be held from 7th November at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya located at Bagbera.
The much awaited and needed eye cure camps which cater to the patients from weaker sections of society commenced last week in which many patients with hyper mature cases were operated upon. COVID19 pandemic and consequential lockdowns prevented conducting of eye camps for many months. As many patients who required urgent cataract surgery approached IRCS and Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan for help, last week the patients were screened and operations were conducted accordingly bearing in mind the exigency.
The next Eye Cure Camp which is being sponsored by Chandulal Bhalotia Social Welfare Trust in memory of eminent social worker and Patron of IRCS, Chandulal Bhalotia, will be held from 7th to 9th November 2020.
Simultaneously, IRCS will also be organizing a Blood Donation Camp on 8th November 2020 at Red Cross Bhawan. On the same day another blood donation camp is being conducted by IRCS at Kukradih, Potka.
