Free distribution of Mehendi, masks on Aug 19-20

Jamshedpur, Aug 19: It has been a tradition for both, young and old women to have Mehendi designs applied by expert artists at Manohar Chat on the occasion of the holy festival Haritalika Teej which women of the house observe for the good health of their husbands and peace and happiness at homes. Pappu Sardar, Madhuri Dixit fan and social activist arranges for free Mehendi application every year for his sisters. But this year, owing to the pandemic situation, the event has been cancelled. But Pappu�s sisters need not worry. He said, �Instead of organizing Mehendi application in the hotel premises, packets of Mehendi and masks will be distributed among all my sisters on August 19 and 20. This is being done looking at the health safety of all.�
