Free cataract operation of 36 patients today

Jamshedpur, July 18: Indian Red Cross Society organized 397th eye check up camp at Ram Manohar Lohiya Eye hospital in Bagbera.

The camp is organized in association with Tata Pigments. Eminent Ophthalmologist Dr. J.S. Bedi along with other doctors carried out the check up procedures.

Nearly 110 people got their eye check-up at the camp, out of which 36 patients had symptoms of cataract (glaucoma). Other patients were released after giving them medicines.

Cataract patients will be operated on Sunday, July 19 at the same hospital. After the operation the patient�s eyes will be checked up and will be provided with necessary medication for 45 days and spectacles.

The guests present at the camp were Tata Pigments HR official V.S.N.Murthy, Social Worker Chandra Mohan, President of Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital Bal Mukund Goyal, Mrs. Dolly Bedi and Taporshi Sarkar.
