Four new personnel posted at Gamharia Police Station

Four additional police personnel joined Gamharia Police Station on Tuesday following a major administrative shakeup. Superintendent of Police Manoj Swargiyari ordered the fresh deployments to restore normalcy after recent disciplinary actions.
Authorities transferred fifteen officers and constables last week. This swift action followed the alleged rape of a woman inside the station. The victim had visited the facility last Thursday night to lodge a complaint.
The transfers drastically reduced the station’s staff strength from twenty-three down to just eight personnel. This severe shortage created an immediate crisis in maintaining local law and order.
Four newly assigned officers reported for duty immediately on Tuesday. Twelve total personnel now manage operations under Station House Officer Rajesh Tudu. The active team currently handles daily complaints, desk duties, and routine area patrols.
