Jamshedpur, April 11: In a mishap at Satnala Dam in Dobo, located in Kapali of Seraikela-Kharsawan district near Jamshedpur, four youths drowned while bathing. Two of them lost their lives in the incident.
The deceased were identified as Amarjit Singh, a resident of Golpahari, and Ashish, a resident of Golmuri. After the incident, both youths were rushed to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where doctors declared them dead upon arrival.
Amarjit’s family members expressed shock, stating they were unaware of his visit to the dam. They were informed by his friends only after the incident, who asked them to come directly to TMH. Amarjit used to drive a car for livelihood.
Authorities are investigating the incident further.
