Gamharia, Nov 23: What was meant to be a joyous occasion turned into a somber affair during the Satyanarayan Puja at Ramshankar Paswan’s residence in Dhirajganj, under the jurisdiction of Adityapur police station. The festivities took a tragic turn when the roof railing collapsed, injuring four women who were attending the puja. The injured individuals were swiftly transported to Gangotri Nursing Home for immediate medical attention and later referred to Tata Main Hospital (TMCH) for advanced treatment.

Upon receiving the distressing information, Police Station In-charge Rajan Kumar and his team promptly arrived at the scene, actively engaging in the rescue operation. Preliminary findings suggest that ongoing construction work at Ramshankar Paswan’s house may have contributed to the unfortunate incident. The women, standing on the railing during the puja, experienced the collapse, leading to their injuries.
The injured individuals, including Malti Devi, are currently receiving treatment at Tata Main Hospital.
