Jamshedpur, Nov. 9: The four-day Jagadhatri Puja organised by Sri Sri Jagadhatri Puja committee, Kadma began on Wednesday.
The puja is being held at Bhatri Sangha premises in Kadma market. The religious programme started with women filing up 108 kalash from Kharkai river.
This followed by puja for saptami, ashtami and navami. Sandhi puja for ashtami-navami was held with 108 diyas, sacrifice and distribution of prasad.
Biswanath Rai of the sangh said, a cultural programme will be held on 10,11 and 12 November evening were local artists Arijit, Heerak Sen and Banku Mukherjee will present Hindi and Bengali songs.
