Jamshedpur, March 3: Sports competition organised by sports department of Tata Steel on the occasion of founder’s day concluded at Gopal Maidan on Friday, March 3.
Other than Founder’s Day Sports the Over All Trophies of Inter Divisional Men & Women and Executive Championship trophies were also distributed.
West Bokaro with 159 points was the winner in men’s category while runner up was Jharia with 136 points.
Chief guest for the occasion was B K Dinda, Secretary (TWU) and Tunnu Choudhary, Dy President (TWU).
In the women’s category Iron Makings with 145 points was the winner while General Offices with 57 points ended as runner-up.
Chief Guest for the occasion was R Ravi Prasad, President (TWU). Over All Winner / Runner Up team Trophy of Inter Divisional Championship (Men) was presented by T V Narendran, MD, Tata Steel.
Over All Winner / Runner Up team Trophy of Executive Championship was given away by Suresh Dutt Tripathy, VP (HRM), Over All Winner / Runner Up team Trophy of Inter Divisional Championship (WOMEN) given by Suresh Kumar, VP (Shared Services).
Other prizes of the Founders Day sports were given by dignitaries like, Mr. B K Das, VP (IM), Mr. Sudhanshu Pathak, VP (SM), Avneesh Gupta, PEO, Rituraj Sinha, Chief (CS), Ravi Radhakrihnan, Chief (Aviation Services & Sports), Satish Kumar Singh, Chairman, Sports Advisory Committee, Shanawaz Alam, VP (TWU), and RCMS and UCM office Bearers Mohan, SS Zama, N K Jha and Nakul.
