They have been behind the Founderís Day show for the past three decades, and this year, they took 45 days to create the magic. One of this yearís most delightful visual treat was the fountainís myriad hues. Working models also caught the attraction of visitors.

As part of the Founderís Day celebrations an exhibition is being held near the Childrenís Park of the Jubilee Park. Moreover , Tata Steel and its subsidiary Jusco as part of its initiative to involve masses of other localities is organising laser light display on the theme Ďhomage to founderí at Beldih Lake in Dhatkidih between March 3 and 4 on the occasion of founderís day celebration.

Founderís Day was first instituted by Tata Steel on March 3, 1932. It was D N Madan, Chief Accountant, Tata Iron and Steel Company, who first conceived the idea of observing and celebrating an annual gathering to commemorate the birth anniversary of J.N. Tata. Founderís day provided him with an opportunity of expressing his regard for the memory of the genius to whose faith and adjustment, energy and perseverance, the works, the towns and the environs of Jamshedpur bear enduring witness.
