Foundation stone laid for 154 schemes worth Rs 29.36 crores in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Health and Food Supply Minister Banna Gupta laid the foundation stone for 154 development schemes worth Rs. 29.36 crores in a ceremony held in Kadma today. These initiatives are being implemented under the Urban Development and 15th Finance Commission by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC).
The selected projects span across the Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency and include vital infrastructure improvements such as roads, drainage systems, culverts, paver block pathways, and public toilet construction. The minister emphasized his commitment to enhancing civic amenities in the constituency. “It is my resolve to provide better and quality services to the people of Jamshedpur West, ensuring they receive health facilities, electricity, and water,” Gupta stated during the event.
The event witnessed the presence of key officials, including Assistant Municipal Commissioner of MMC Arvind Prasad Agarwal, Assistant Engineers Mayank Shekhar Mishra and Santosh Kumar, and Deputy Municipal Commissioner of JNAC Krishna Kumar. Senior officers like SDO Sanjay Kumar, AE Sachin Jha, and MLA representatives were also in attendance, along with local activists and community leaders.
