Jamshedpur, Feb. 11: Foundation stone for the construction of a community hall for the Ho Samaj was laid jointly by Jamshedpur East MLA representative Mithilesh Singh Yadav, BJP leaders Chandrasekhar Mishra, Khemlal Choudhary, Dinesh Kumar and Golmuri BJP mandal president Probir Chatterjee Rana on Thursday by performing rituals near the ABM College in Golmuri.
The bhawan is being constructed following the recommendation of Jamshedpur East MLA and Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Jamshedpur MP Bidhut Baran Mahato at a cost of Rs 17.25 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Miithilesh Yadav said, since a long time, the Ho society has been demanding a community hall for their daily activities.
The BJP government in the state aims to strengthen the villages, which, in turn, would help the Adivasi community of the state. Several BJP party workers and leaders were present on the occasion.
