Foundation laid for community buildings in Potka

Potka: Foundation of two community development buildings was laid in Chakri and Kowali of Potka on Sunday. Zila Parishad member of Potka Sanjeev Sardar was the chief guest of the occasion. He said the two buildings would be constructed at a cost of Rs 11 lakh by Gaurang Construction.

Addressing a gathering of villagers, Sardar alleged that the state government was neglecting Zila Parishad members who were elected by the people with the view to ensure development of their constituency. But due to neglect by the government, Zila Parishad members are unable to do anything, he said.

Among others present on the occasion included Manoj Kumar Sardar, Subhashini Sardar, Sushank Mandal, Sitaram Sardar and Vishnupado Bhagat.
