Jamshedpur: A family get-together cum picnic was organized at Theme Park, Telco, here on Sunday by members and relatives of Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur. It started at 9 am and continued till 5 pm.
More than 300 people participated in the event. The programme started with an introductory session. A new member, C Jai Prakash Swarnakar, joined the organization as a member today.
Several competitions and recreational activities were organized for women and children. Various issues concerning the welfare of former soldiers were discussed during the picnic.
The members were addressed on the occasion by the outfit office-bearers including Brij Kishore Singh, Sushil Singh and Utpal Sinha. Other participants of the event included Ajay Kumar Singh, Surendra Ojha, Rajesh Kumar, Ashok Srivastava, Utpal Sinha and Sushil Singh.
