Former MP offers prayers at Telco’s 22-foot Kali Puja Pandal

Jamshedpur: Former BJP President and former Hazaribagh MP Dr. Yadunath Pandey visited the renowned 22-foot Kali Puja pandal at Telco on Wednesday and offered prayers during its golden jubilee celebrations. The grand pandal, one of the city’s most prominent festive attractions, has been drawing large crowds since the onset of the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pandey described his visit as an unforgettable experience and praised the Telco Kali Puja Committee for its decades of dedicated efforts. He said that the Committee’s contribution has been inscribed as a golden chapter in Jharkhand’s cultural heritage. “It is through the Puja Committee’s tireless commitment and devotion that this Puja has earned recognition across the state. My affection for the Committee and my devotion to Maa Kali compelled me to come here,” he said, extending his wishes for happiness, prosperity, and peace to all.

Senior BJP leader D.D. Tripathi also accompanied Dr. Pandey during the visit. On behalf of the Puja Committee, P. Chintu Solanki, Dabbu Singh, Sunny Singh, Himanshu Tiwari, and Golu, among others, felicitated Dr. Pandey with a shawl and a memento as a mark of respect and appreciation. The visit added to the festive fervour at the Telco Kali Puja pandal, which continues to be a major centre of attraction in Jamshedpur during the celebrations.
