Ranch, April 24: Former chief minister Hemant Soren has approached the Supreme Court.
In the petition he filed, he said alleged that the High Court is not giving its verdict on his petition challenging his arrest by ED in a money laundering case.
Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Soren, told the bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta that the High Court had reserved its decision on his petition on February 28, but no decision has been given yet.
Hemant Soren was arrested by ED on January 31 on accusation of money laundering in a land scam case. The former CM is currently in judicial custody in Birsa Munda jail of Ranchi.
