Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Retired defense personnel and Mango resident Awdhesh Kumar�s wife Anita Singh died at the entrance of Brahmanand Hospital while gasping for breath. The staff, attired in corona kit instead of providing her oxygen rushed around to do COVID-19 test before attending to her immediate requirement resulting in her death. Anita Singh was an employee of the Deputy Commissioner�s office.
Immediately on learning about the incident more than 50 Purv Sainik Seva Parishad members reached the hospital and expressed their anger and dismay at the hospital staff�s ineptness and inconsiderate ways. This carelessness on the part of the Brahmanand hospital staff has raised social posers. One of the aggrieved Purv Sainiks asked, �The medics have to prioritize whether first aid is more important or the Corona test.�
The aggrieved and shocked Parishad members present included the organization�s president Tapas Majumdar, Bimal Kumar Ojha, general secretary Anil Sinha, Pankaj Sharma, Satyaprakash, Vinay Yadav, Rajesh Kumar, Amardip Samad, Navin Sinha, Ramesh Sharma, Kishori Prasad, Krishna Mohan Singh, Dayanand Singh, Vishnudev Prasad and others.
