Jamshedpur, Jan 13: Former District Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Dr. Gorelal Yadav can contest polls and try his luck at Assembly elections from Jamshedpur West.
However reports are that Yadav can be a candidate from Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM). For the same talks are being held at party level but the final decision will be taken by the party�s Union President, Babulal Marandi.
Dr. Gorelal Yadav was in Jamshedpur on Monday for a personal meeting and later in the day he met DC Dr. Amitabh kaushal.
On the occasion talking the media persons Dr. Yadav counted several of his achievements during his tenure in the district.
Yadav said, �Till now I haven�t got any offer from any of the party for contesting elections but if the public wants I can try my hands at politics also�.
Asked which party he considers the best, Yadav replied the party which is corruption free close to his heart and as the country is run by industrialist the gap between the rich and poor is becoming bigger which should be reduced, added Dr. Yadav. Dr. Yadav further said that win Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi has proven that educated also can win the elections.
During his tenure as DC new collectorate office was built which was designed by him, Mango new bridge, Jojobera Power Plant and Timken was also inaugurated, added Dr. Yadav.
Dr. Gorelal Yadav has purchased a flat in Kadma and registered it. Before meeting Dr. Amitabh Kaushal Yadav along with his family members went to the registration office to register the flat purchased.
According to reports, the flat�s cost is 68 lakh, 20 thousand at Vijay Heritaj in Kadma. Retired Dr. Gorelal Yadav is currently living in Patna while he belongs to Munger.
