Jamshedpur, April 4: As Amitabh Choudhary arrived for his felicitation function at Keenan Stadium, former cricketers led by Shehnath Pathak burnt effigy of JSCA President protesting against ending cricket at Jamshedpur which was called the sports city of Jharkhand.
Former cricketers from very long time have been protesting to revive cricket at Keenan which hosted last One day match in 2006.
On Friday they took out a protest march in a truck with effigy of JSCA boss and roamed all over the Jamshedpur but on Saturday the ex cricketers were very much in line to stop Amitabh but police force was pressed into service to keep away any untoward incident.
