Mail News Service

Jamshedpur, July 11: The Rakhamines (Jadugoda) Forest Range with a target to plant 30 thousand saplings during the current monsoon season has been stalled due to lack of rains. The plantation commenced at the Ruam forest area a few days earlier where more than one thousand tree saplings were planted. According to Rakhamines Forest Ranger Anil Chandra Das, a target of 10 thousand saplings was targeted to be planted but lack of rains put a check to the plan. Apart from Ruam, the targeted plantation of 10 thousand tree saplings each in the forest ranges of Ranikudar and Hitbasa in Shankarda had to be stopped due to paucity of rains.
