Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Footpath traders of Tinplate market staged demonstration before the office of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office on Tuesday to demand their rehabilitation. A petition was handed over to the Special Officer of JNAC. The traders requested construction and allotment of pucca shops to vegetable and fruit vendors. They said they should be given pucca shops just as the district administration had allotted shops to the 88 traders of Tinplate market. They said the administration had removed encroachment on 26th May last. They said a survey was conducted to identify fruit and vegetable vendors, but during allotment these vendors were neglected by the administration.
